Hand painting or Spray Painting????

All of you experts out there, I need advice. I have a couple pieces I want to paint. One will be a night stand, there other my dresser. There are you out there that have done much more of this than I have.....what is your preference? What do you have better results with? Does it matter the size. Advice, Please. Blessings, Deborah

    I always seem to get runs when i spray paint but that's with the can paint, I love to do the hands on paint myself but that's me..I'm sure whatever you choose it will be great. Good luck and can't wait to see it.

    Personally, I handpaint almost everything, for a few reasons. Runs/drips with spray paint. Spray paint is expensive and usually takes multiple cans for a project. You're limited to colors that are available with spray paint, too. I use Benjamin Moore paint and there are 3200 colors available. I love that! :) Best of luck with whatever you choose!

Good Sunday Evening Everyone, Well, if you have ever visited my Pinterest boards, you know that I love Bohemian ANYTHING! The colors.....the clothes.....the furniture.....I'm an "ole hippie", what do you expect! I have seen so many things online, from clothes to jewelry, that have touched my bohemian soul, but, of course, for the most part, I can not afford to buy what I like. You will need the large zip ties, your jewelry making tools, strips of cloth, jewelry wire and scotch tape. Yes, scotch tape! I took a zip tie and made a circle to measure the size of my wrist, but then just added a "smidgen"and then cut off the end of the zip tie and taped the circle together. Everyone Loves Watermelon....Right?

Good Monday Evening Everyone, Wow, can you believe that it is already the 6th of May??? I can't.....it seems like it was just yesterday that I  moved into my new home in February! But, I'm not complaining...especially after all the rain we got last week, the Sun was out today....there was a nice breeze blowing....and I had breakfast with my 2 daughters this morning, and my 4 1/2 month old grandson! It was wonderful, and I knew Summer is on it's way! When I was growing up, one of my favorite times of the Summer was when you could see all the watermelons for sale, and my Daddy loved him some watermelon! He would go to the local little farmer's stand where all his buddies whom were farmers were selling fresh local produce. He would load up the car with watermelons and come home. The Lady with Blue Eyes...New Folk Art Painting

Good Friday Evening Everyone, Wow, it has been an absolutely beautiful day down here in rural South Georgia in my hometown of Waycross. The Sun has been shinning most of the day.....a soft, gentle breeze has been whispering through the pines.....just an all around great day..... and what better time for me to premiere my newest, and I think my best, folk art painting. I had this idea in my head for along time....I wanted her to be a little whimsy.....slightly "hippieish".... magical....secretive.....and special. I used both acrylic and oil painting....I had an old frame in my craft closet....and decided to glue the frame to the mat.
