NEW! Handmade Burlap Purses!
Greetings Everyone,
I hope your weekend has started off wonderful....some of you know that I have been "laid up" as we say down South with a bad back this past week, so just finished putting the finishing touches on my new burlap purses and had pics taken....they are made from old coffee burlap bags....old belts for straps.....and all types of other items for decorations. I hope you like them:
I have several more designs I want to make....really proud of how they turned out. I would love to have any constructive comments, as I would like to be able to sell them at the next big craft show I go to. I can always depend on you!
Blessings,
Deborah

sorry to hear about your back, hope it's on the mend. Been there, done that one, ouch.
ReplyDeleteLove your purses. Hope they sell really well for you.
I made a purse out of a pinto bean bag I got at thrift store, got 2 of them actually.
All the linings in my purses were getting holes and I was losing things in them. I thought about the burlap bean bag, went into sewing room to see what fabric I had to line it and make pockets for inside and straps. Just kinda winged it and ended up with a great purse. Every body that sees it asks where I got it.
I made two pockets on inside lining and it's just what I needed. Made the straps long enuf to go over my shoulder also. Loving it. If I had a camera I'd send you a pic of it. I've thought about making some to sell just using my burlap.
Really liked all your purses you made, really cute and different. I like different, not like everybody else has. Happy summer
These are really creative.
