The Wedding is Finally Over!!

Wow, last night was wonderful. My oldest daughter, Anna Brooke, got married last night at my mother's home. I hopefully will have pics later this week to post, AND hopefully can get back to crafting and painting this week. I hope everyone has a Blessed Sunday and enjoy time for yourself and your family. DIY Zip Tie Bohemian Bracelets! VaVoom!

Good Sunday Evening Everyone, Well, if you have ever visited my Pinterest boards, you know that I love Bohemian ANYTHING! The colors.....the clothes.....the furniture.....I'm an "ole hippie", what do you expect! I have seen so many things online, from clothes to jewelry, that have touched my bohemian soul, but, of course, for the most part, I can not afford to buy what I like. So, I resort to learning how to make it instead, and recently, I had seen these zip tie bracelets and just didn't think they would turn out like the pictures, but they did! Easy Peazy! You will need the large zip ties, your jewelry making tools, strips of cloth, jewelry wire and scotch tape. Yes, scotch tape! I took a zip tie and made a circle to measure the size of my wrist, but then just added a "smidgen"and then cut off the end of the zip tie and taped the circle together. I then took about a 24 inch strip of fabric and made a knot with one end around the zip tie circle and star...

Everyone Loves Watermelon....Right?

Good Monday Evening Everyone, Wow, can you believe that it is already the 6th of May??? I can't.....it seems like it was just yesterday that I  moved into my new home in February! But, I'm not complaining...especially after all the rain we got last week, the Sun was out today....there was a nice breeze blowing....and I had breakfast with my 2 daughters this morning, and my 4 1/2 month old grandson! It was wonderful, and I knew Summer is on it's way! When I was growing up, one of my favorite times of the Summer was when you could see all the watermelons for sale, and my Daddy loved him some watermelon! He would go to the local little farmer's stand where all his buddies whom were farmers were selling fresh local produce. He would load up the car with watermelons and come home. We would ice them down in a cooler that morning and then he would make us go outside to play! So, the water hoses were brought out and slung over a tree branch.....water sprinklers were set  ...

Biscuit Pull-a-part Surprise! YUMMY!

Wow, I'm on a roll.....two post in two days! I'm bacccck....and I'm a cooking!  First, I have to give a a Shout Out to Amy over at www.ohbiteit.com......while I was scrolling through blog post I had missed over the past couple weeks of my "down time", I discovered her blog....she has some wonderfully sounding recipes, and one caught my eye.... It is a very easy recipe using canned biscuits, cheese, and a little butter! I don't know about ya'll...but, down south, anything with butter is great! Basically, you can use a cake pan, or as I used today, a small, glass, square dish....I pre-heated the oven to 350. I melted a half a stick of butter in the dish....just cut that stick of butter in half, drop it in the dish, slide it in the over, and let it melt. I then took 2 cans of canned biscuits and opened them and set all the dough on my counter.  I cut a big chunk of cheese from my sharp cheddar block I had in fridge....and cut it into small piec...
